Kessel's
Training is Northern Illinois' most advanced basketball,
volleyball and plyometric training organization. We offer a
variety of camps, clinics, private instruction and more for all of
your basketball, volleyball and athletic needs.
Founded by Dennis Kessel and his 25
years of coaching expertise, Kessel's Training is unique because,
regardless of sport, he breaks down every individual step over and
over until the player's muscles are trained, mind is focused and the
skill perfected.
Coach Dennis Kessel
Coach Kessel is the former head
varsity basketball coach at Mundelein High School. He is one of the
premier teachers of the game in the Chicagoland area. Coach Kessel
has conducted basketball camps throughout the United States for over
29 years and has developed a teaching system that enhances players'
skills in all facets of the game. Among Coach Kessel's coaching
accomplishments:
- Compiled 377 career victories
- Won 10 Conference Championships
- Won 6 Regional Championships
Won 1 Sectional Championship
Kyle Kessel
Kyle was recently elected into the
Illinois High School Basketball Hall of Fame. Among Kyle's
accomplishments:
- All-State Mundelein High School
(1993-1994)
- 2nd all-time in assists in
Illinois High School Basketball
- Second leading scorer in Lake
County, IL basketball history
- Played college basketball at
Texas A&M University (1995-1997)
- 7th in the nation in assists
